With 17 hundred different selections and 17 thousand bottles lining the walls of their antique wine cellar, the staff at Antrim 1844 Country House Hotel pride themselves in their hospitality and ability to serve the best spirits to each of their beloved guests. On Wednesday, February 3rd, treasured friend of Antrim wine masters and renowned wine maker, James Cahill, stops by to share his favorite Northern Valley Wines with you at Antrim 1844 Hotel! The event will take place in the beautifully adorned twin drawing rooms of the Antrim’s main mansion, and will offer you the chance to meet Cahill, a 20-season veteran of North Valley Winery based out of Oregon. It is at North Valley that some of the finest Pinot Noirs and Sparkling wines are produced with help from the cooler climate and pristine attention to detail. “The team at North Valley Wines is very conscious of the earth while producing all of their wines,” said Amanda Stein, Marketing Director at The Antrim 1844. “They know exactly what they put in and take out of their products.” Antrim’s wine master and own Richard Mollett often travel across the country in search of some of the areas greatest wineries to learn more about the trade and to add to their growing collection. “It’s in these travels that our staff is able to meet such wonderful people and form great relationships with so many great winemakers,” Stein said. Come meet Cahill and learn more about his three tiers of exceptional wines including “Classics”, “Origins”, and “Reserves”. Event begins at 5pm on Wednesday February 3rd . $35 per person and includes meet and greet, wine tasting, and hand passed hors de’oeuvres.
